She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Calvin Sorrell and Iona McClain Plick; her husband Cecil Robert Meadows; her sons, Joseph Sorrell and David Meadows; her grandchildren, Barbara Sorrell and Michael Brandon Meadows; and her great grandchild David "Bruiser" Prater.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Meadows (Katrina) of Bath County, KY, Ricky Meadows (Bonnie) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Jeff Meadows (Lisa) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Mark Meadows of Mt. Sterling, KY and Joyce Meadows Bays of Jeffersonville, KY; her sister Ashley Higgins of Flaggstaff, AZ; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Meadows, Tiffany Cole, Chassity Bailey, Aeriel Prater, Matthew Meadows, Christopher Keith Meadows, Christopher Ray Meadows, Christin Ricker, Robert Meadows, Bobby Bays Jr., Katrina Perry, Tony Sorrell, Melissa Thomas and Tina Hamm. She is also survived by twenty-eight great grandchildren.
