He was predeceased by: his parents, John Liss and Estelle Berkowicz Liss; his former wife Gayle Calkins Liss; and his sisters, Kathleen Liss and Betty Waddick.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Liss (Stella) of Maysville, Marc Liss (Michelle) of Seattle and Robin Waters (Greg) of Mt. Sterling; his grandchildren, Tyler Waters (Amanda) of Lexington, Danielle Waters of Mt. Sterling, Jacob Liss of Seattle and Karissa Flora of Maysville; and his brother Michael Liss (Audrey) of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
