He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Petitt and Mary Susan Petitt of Sharpsburg; and his brothers, Bill Petitt, Edgar Petitt, James Petitt and Bob Petitt.
He is survived by: his wife Lorena Petitt of Sharpsburg; his children, Mary Ann Faudere (Gary L.) of Mt. Sterling, Millard Petitt (Mary Ann) of Shaprsburg and Kim Routt (Doug) of Sharpsburg; his stepgranddaughter Mary Beth Routt of Lexington; and his siblings, Bennie Petitt of Sharpsburg and Christine Tull of Cincinnati. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one step great great grandchild.
