He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Steele and Margaret Stephens Steele; and his siblings, Sam Steele, Mike Steele, Joyce Seamen, Elaine Cornwell and Vicky Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jeanne Palmer Steele; and his children, Phillip Steele (Michelle) of Little Rock, AR and Angela Gazaway (Mark) of Less Summit, MO. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and thirteen grandchildren.
