He was predeceased by: his parent Mellicue Samuel Townley, Sr.; his siblings, Dexter Townley, Trovia Townley and Rachel Butts; and his grandson Louis Ramos.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Warren Townley of Mt. Sterling, KY; his children, Dwain Townley (Tabitha) of Rocky Gap, VA, Joseph Townley of Grand Junction, CO, Matthew Townley (Gillian) of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Rachel Townley of Grand Junction, CO, Emmalee Cabral (Ishmael) of Denver, CO, Regina Bohn (Tyrel) of Billings, MT, Mellcia Webster (Ronald) of Lexington, KY and Victoria Townley of Carlisle, KY; his sister Sharon Hall (Jim) of Grand Junction, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Cooke (Kevin) of Paris, KY and Barbara Hough (Dave) of Yardley, PA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
