He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Walters and Marilyn Kay Green; and his brother Anthony Walters. He is survived by: his significant other Bernetti Walters of Mt. Sterling, KY; his children, Nolan Walters (Melissa) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Kyle Smith (Megan) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Briannia Kiser (Kaleb Vanover) of Mt. Sterling; his sisters, Missy Walters of Hope, KY, Jeanette Donald (Larry Martin) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Julie Caldwell of Mt. Sterling, KY, Janice Rawlings (Dean) of Frenchburg, KY, Patty Edger (Rick Banfield) of Means, KY and Beverly Lawhorn (Kevin Forrester) of Jeffersonville, KY; and his grandchildren, Olivia Cruz, Emma Vanover, Wyatt Smith, Caroline Smith and Jasmine Perkins.
