It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew McCarty (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Sherri Gayle McCarty. He is survived by: his parents, Gay McCarty and Sharon Johnson McCarty of Mt. Sterling; his sisters, Angie Johnson (Chris) of Jeffersonville and Danita Ginter (Kevin) of Mt. Sterling; his niece McKayla Jones (Timmy); his nephews, Devon Martin and Braxton Johnson; his great-niece Charleigh; his great-nephews, Michael and Kennett; and his close friend Chris Arnett of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, a private family visitation and Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Brother Phil Milheiser and Brother Artie Amburgey officiating.
