It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Faulkner Clemons of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gay and Martha Webb Gay; her husband David Wayne Clemons; and her pet Annie. She is survived by: her pet Carly Cate; her daughters, Jeanne Elizabeth Lane (Steve) of Mt. Sterling and Laura Gay Faulkner of Louisville; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lane Colbert (Jacob Cale) of Winchester, James Christopher Bettger (Kelsey) of Louisville and Davis Bettger of Louisville; her great grandchildren, James Lane Colbert of Winchester and Jacob Wylie Colbert of Winchester; her brother William Ragan Gay (Sue Ann) of Mt. Sterling; her nephew Jim Gay (Cheryl) of Mt. Sterling; her niece Beth Gay Smiley (Jim) of Livonia, Michigan; her great-nieces, Laura Ragan Gay of Lexington, Lauren Elizabeth Smiley of Livonia, Michigan and Alison Grace Smiley of Livonia, Michigan; her great-nephew James Harrison Gay of Mt. Sterling; and her caregiver Mary Jewell. She is also survived by her family, friends.
