She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Curtis of Mount Sterling; her siblings, Gertrude Wightman, Della Barnes Hendrix, Pearl Romine, Roy Sexton Russell Sexton and Robert Sexton; and her niece Lucy Hinson.

She is survived by: her children, Frances Allen (Randy), Gracie Coyle, Thomas Sexton (Janet Sue), Rodney Sexton, James Curtis (Pamela), Russell Curtis, Donald Curtis and Michael Curtis (Debbie). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
