It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Cole of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, born in Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brack Nickels and Gladys Nickels; her grandson Wesley Cole; and her siblings, Larry Nickels, David Nickels, Burnam Nickels, Rob Nickels, Pansy Miller and Ella Mae Gipson.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Cole (Angela), Merlin Nickels, Gladys Curtis and Elsie Cole (Mark); and her siblings, Dudley Nickels, Abe Nickels, Jake Nickels, Andrew Nickels, Sylvia Smith, Rella Gipson and Lida Jo Gipson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren.
