She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Edward Ballard of Mt. Sterling; her parents, George Reffitt and Nellie Willoughby Reffitt; her children, Randy Ballard and Kathy Ewin; and her siblings, Donna Spurlock, Florine Hunt and Bobby Reffitt.
She is survived by: her children, Stevie Ballard (Roberta), Ricky Ballard (Nina), Regina Martin (Larry) and Lisa Rite (Christopher); and her sisters, Rosy Lee Gilbert, Myrtle Taulbee and Lucille Becraft. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchild.
