He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Smith McIntosh; and his brothers, Calvin McIntosh, Elvin McIntosh, Everett McIntosh and Ben McIntosh.

He is survived by: his son David McIntosh; his grandchildren, Becky Mapel (Eric) and Ryan McIntosh; and his great grandchildren, Gage Mapel, Gavin Mapel, Madison McIntosh and Marissa McIntosh.
