It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Sears (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), born in Smithville, Mississippi, who passed away on December 11, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Truman Upton. She is survived by: her parent Ressie May Upton; her children, Rhonda Ruth (James) of Leicester, NC and Michael Loy (Kristi) of Portland, OR; her granddaughter Jessica DeFord (Scott); her great grandchild Jameson DeFord; and her siblings, Dorothy Chitwood and Charles Upton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
