He is survived by: his wife Alicia Guerra; his siblings, Rafeal Guerra, Silvia Guerra and Martha Salinas; and his children, Alicia Guerra, Mayra Schwarz, Mireya Whitaker, Mario Guerra II and Alejandro Guerra. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
