She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Fortune and Gladys Frazier Fortune; her husband Buford Morton; her siblings, Ishmael Fortune and Reva Arrasmith; and her daughter-in-law Donna Morton.

She is survived by: her children, Danny Morton (Debbie), James A. "Jim" Morton, Stewart Morton and Cindy Clark (Jeff) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Daren Morton, Matthew Morton, Brandi Shular, Ashley Mayberry, Whittney Martin and Zachary Clark; her great grandchildren, Kayleigh Morton, Tyson Morton, Trey Mayberry, Anna Rose Mayberry, Sadie Martin and Siler Martin; and her siblings, Howard Fortune (Bonnie), Johnny Fortune (Donna) and Sarah McGlothin (Everett) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
