She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Puckett and Hazel Francis Willoughby Puckett; her husband James Elliott "Coach" Scott; and her brother Larry Arnold Puckett. She is survived by: her children, Scotty Taulbee (Becky) of Elizabethtown, Mark Taulbee (Tina Brown) of Denniston, Akeem Jamaal Scott (Jennifer) of Mt. Sterling and Keia Scott-Newsome (Jimmie III) of Lexington; her brothers, Charles David Puckett of Mt. Sterling and Gary Wayne Puckett of Jeffersonville; and her grandchildren, Travis Taulbee, Elizabeth Taulbee, Allison Taulbee, Braelyn Taulbee, Mason Newsome, Charleigh Newsome, Colten Taulbee, Martina Taulbee, Alexandria Francis, Ciera Locke and Olivia Locke. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the High Street Christian Church (401 E High St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Machpelah Cemetery (600 E Locust St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353).
