He is survived by: his children, Angela Martin (Richard), Jennifer Thorne (Rova) and Gregory Tyra; his grandchildren, Amanda Tyra, McKinsey Tyra and Levi Martin (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Rachel, Bryce, Waylon, Peyton, Kaylee, Rayne, Jordan, Aliyah and Brantley; his siblings, Wilma Ratliff, Linda Hensley (Jim), Geraldine Townsend (Raymond), Lee Tyra (Ida), Bill Tyra (Kathy), Tobe Tyra (Faye), Ray Tyra and Glenn Tyra (Faye); and his pet Daisy Tyra. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
