She was predeceased by: her parents, Antious Slaughter and Barbara Lynn James; and her grandmother Helen James. She is survived by: her spouse Avtar Singh of Mt. Sterling; her son Bryce Timothy Tyra; her stepfather Timothy Botts; her grandfather Clayton James; her uncle William James; and her cousin Nathan James.
