It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Justene Humfleet of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, born in Clay City, Kentucky, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Robert Means; and her siblings, William Wells, Roberta Handy, Alice Powell, Lavena Catchings, Vernice Watson and Hattie Puckett.
She is survived by: her husband Elbert Humfleet; her children, Deborah Catchings (David) and Walter Humfleet (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Diana Rogers (Vernon), Amy Wagers (Brian), Jennifer Springer (Richie), Angie Jones (Matt), Justina Brooks (Michael), Erica Boggs (Travis), Alana Surrena (Larry), Ryan Means (Sheila) and Joel Means. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
