He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester W. Hedger and Virgie E. Estes Hedger. He is survived by: his wife Dainty P. Hedger of Mt. Sterling, KY; his son William Joe Hedger of Winchester, KY; his stepsons, Cecil Clark Shrout (Kathy) of Preston, KY, Lyle Pernell Shrout of Indianapolis, IN and Clay Eric Shrout (Tena) of Mt. Sterling, KY; his daughter Michelle Renee Hedger Edding (Michael) of Davenport, FL; and his sister Phyllis Carpenter of Mt. Sterling, KY. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.
