Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jody Cooksey (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), born in Washington, Kentucky, who passed away, on December 9, 2018. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Coyle Cooksey of Mt. Sterling; his daughters, Phyllis Montgomery (Danny) of Mt. Sterling, Betty Jo Emery (Glenn) of Mt. Sterling, Annette Trent (Dan) of Auburn and Marylene Gorrell (Merrell) of Owingsville; and his sister Betty Jane Cheser of Willisburg. He is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Gateway Christian Church.
