He was predeceased by: his father Louis W.; his wife Dorothy McIntosh Walters; and his siblings, Wendell Walters, Jewell Murphy and Wilma Doyle.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Walters (Cindy) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Pam Collins (Doug) of Mt. Sterling, KY; his sister Louise Wingate (D. C.) of Clendenin, WV; his grandchildren, Jason Collins, Amy Collins Young (Jeremy), Kelli Walters Clarke (Keenan) and Whitney Renee Walters; and his great grandchildren, Stella Louise Young and Evan James Clarke.
