It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James William McClanahan of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Homer Elam; his children, Roger McClanahan and Charlotte McClanahan Eastman; and his brother Junior McClanahan. He is survived by: his wife Patty Troutman McClanahan; his children, Michael McClanahan of Mt. Sterling and Teresa Earlywine of Carlisle; and his grandchildren, Jason McClanahan (Rebecca) of Las Vegas, Jeremy McClanahan (Dana) of Mt. Sterling, Victoria Parks (Dustin) of Mt. Sterling, Sarah McClanahan (Nick James) of Lexington, Desaray Earlywine of Carlisle, Paige Earlywine of Carlisle and Caleb Lewis (Courtney) of Carlisle. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
