In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Diane Henson (Thompson); and his daughters, Sharon Fredrick (Richard) of Mt Sterling, Susan Redmon (Tim) of Lexington and Krista Johnson (Dennis) of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, a sister in law, 1 nephew and 1 niece.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals (1002 Woodford Dr, Mt Sterling, KY 40353).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
