He was predeceased by: his father James Richard Bramel Sr.; and his siblings, Samuel "Ed" Bramel and Janet Steuart. He is survived by: his wife Martha Martin Bramel of Mt. Sterling, KY; his children, James Nelson Bramel of Jeffersonville, KY and Lisa Anne Bramel of Mt. Sterling, KY; his siblings, Catsby "Woody" Bramel (Joy) of Jeffersonville, KY and Mildred Heflin of Paris, KY; and his grandson Jacob Ison.
