It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ivory Snelling of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Smith and Mazie Adkins; her daughter Julie "Sis" Snelling; her siblings, James Smith, Thelma Snelling, Lena B. Moore, Ruth Sexton, Mae Arnold and Faye White; and her grandson Allen Lee.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Lee (Demarie) of Olympia, KY; her siblings, Donald Smith (Maxine) of Camargo, KY, Peggy Linkins of Owingsville, KY, Alice Manning (Paul) of Maysville, KY and Patty Smith of Owingsville, KY; and her granddaughter Joyce Williams. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel (109 E Main St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Longview Cemetery (1135 Bethel Ridge Rd, Sharpsburg, KY 40374).
