He is survived by: his son Ronald "Tommy" Sams of Sharpsburg; his granddaughter Emily P. Sams of Owingsville; his great grandchildren, Kaidyn Ruark of Owingsville, Adalynn Jones of Owingsville, Scotlyn Lawson of Owingsville and Kohl McDaniel of Owingsville; and his sisters, Delina "Sissy" Sams of Winchester, KY. and Elizabeth Means of Winchester, KY.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals (1002 Woodford Dr, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
