With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Howard Latimer of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Latimer and Iris Latimer; his son-in-law Kenny Sargent; and his brothers, Paul, Bill and Rick Latimer.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Alexander Latimer; his children, Janet Sargent (Johnnie Dicken), Jay (Angie) and Jim (Vicki); his grandchildren, Renee'Spencer (Caleb), Lindsay Latimer (Jason Jackson), Chas Sargent (Julissa), Alicia Latimer, Elizabeth Latimer (Mike O'Regan), Dana Latimer, Emily Latimer, Jacob Latimer and Alex Latimer; his great grandchildren, Hallie, Connor, Hagen, Michael, Lydia, Emery Kate, Benjamin, Henry and Charlotte; and his sisters, Mary Bowman of Missouri, June Dailey of Missouri, Helen Swindler of Missouri and Carolyn Kelly of Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel (109 E Main St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
