It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Shrout (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), born in Mariba, Kentucky, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Bethel Shrout; his children, Mark Shrout, Barbara Fischer and Patricia Sparks; his granddaughter Holly Sparks; his stepson William Higgins; and his siblings, Josephine Hatton, Ruby Eldridge, Jimmy Shrout, Lloyd Shrout and Charles Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda McKinley (Steve) and Wanda Holt (Dale); his daughter-in-law Beth Shrout; his stepchildren, Richard Higgins (Janet), Michael Higgins (Mary), Betty Randolph, Debbie Moore and Linda Ballentine (Daniel); his grandchildren, Craig McKinley (Cara), Dawn Taylor (Jeremy), Vicki McAdams (Mike), Brent Burpee, Jason Holt (Nicky), Ruth James (Eric), Heather Wagner (Brad), Carrie Funk (Dan), Jeremy Sparks (Sarah), Laura, Joey Higgins, Angie Clark (Michael), Melinda Adkins (Steve) and Paul Dixon (Candace); his great grandchildren, Duncan, Breeanne, Caleb McKinley, Daniel, Timothy, Anthony, Logan Taylor, Cassie Vandermeir, Gabriel McAdams, Zoey, Josephine, Lily Holt, Jordan, Hailee, Riley Wagner, Madison, Megan, Morgan Funk, Isabelle, Kinsley, Brayden Sparks, Belinda Jordan, Zachary, Tyler Dixon and Brandon Huffman; and his great great grandchildren, Benjamin, Aiden, Colton, Allison Vandermeir, Raine and Alaina Wagner.
