With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry David Black (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ova J. Black and Lauda Susan Hall Black; and his brother Richard Black. He is survived by: his wife Reva Black of Mt. Sterling, KY; his daughters, Terre Black Bartley of Mt. Sterling and Tricia Black Anderson of Mt. Sterling; his brother Hugh Black (Carol) of Louisville, KY; and his grandchildren, Mason David Anderson, Carson Christopher Anderson and Braylee Michele Bartley.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the First Church of God, 1051 Camargo Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.

“In 1995 our family moved to Mt. Sterling and became pastors at the First Church of God. A few months later we bought a home in Holly Hills right across from the Black's and Butlers. This was such a wonderful decision because we became more than neighbors we became family!! We have so many fun stories of wonderful times spent together. Lee passed away 6 months ago; we don't know exactly how you feel but with tears down my face please know we care and you all are in our hearts and prayers.”
