With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Greene (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Prewitt Greene; his parents, Harold Crail Greene and Catherine Howell Greene; his brothers, Howard Berkley Greene (Margaret) and David Howell Greene; and his siblings-in-law, Hazel Jones Greene, Henry Reid Prewitt III and Phyllis Prewitt.
He is survived by: his children, Lauray (Laurie), Greene Lybarger (Brad), Katherine Howell (Kate) and Annette O'Rear Greene Ison (Mark); his grandchildren, Laura Katherine Zolman, Nicholas Farrell Zolman, Alexander Joseph Ison and Benjamin Mark Ison; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Greene and Robert Winn Prewitt (Diane); and his nieces and nephews, Emily Catherine Greene Branscum, Henry Reid Prewitt IV, Allen James Prewitt, Robert Winn Prewitt II, Barbara Prewitt Scepura, MaryAnn Greene Lopez, Mary Beth Prewitt Vann and Kathleen Greene Henrickson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Presbyterian Church of Mt. Sterling or the Montgomery County Historical Society.
