He was predeceased by: his father Leslie Clark Dale; and his siblings, Billy Gene Dale, Cecil Dale, Johnny Dale and Sue Amburgey.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Crouch Dale of Mt. Sterling, KY; and his sons, Duwayne Dale (Rebecca) of Morehead, KY and Brady Dale (Emily) of Richmond, KY. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
