She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rogers and Isora Wills Rogers; her husband Vernon Gibbs; her siblings, Thomas Franklin, Carl Rogers and Mattie Lou Bartley; and her great grandchild Jonathan Terry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie McCarty (Jim) of Mt. Sterling and Brenda Moore (Lonnie) of Mt. Sterling; her grandchildren, Jim McCarty (Tammy) of Mt. Sterling, Jimmy Moore (Shelly) of Mt. Sterling, Joni Branham (Phillip) of Mt. Sterling, Tammy McKinney (Tony) and Bruce McCarty (Tracie) of Morehead; her siblings, Bill Rogers, Beulah Manley, Jean Dale and Lela Johnson (Bill); and her sister-in-law Phyllis Read (Don). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
