It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geneva Campbell of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Patton Slemp and Martha Martin Slemp; her husband Herman Campbell; her son Charles Eugene Campbell; and her brothers, Homer C. Slemp, Robert Eugene Slemp and Paul Edward Slemp.
She is survived by: her children, Herman Ray Campbell of Mt. Sterling, William Gayle Campbell of Jeffersonville, Gary Lee Campbell (Terri) of Winchester, Ricky Edward Campbell of Mt. Sterling and Rita Howard (Dawson) of Jeffersonville; and her grandchildren, Marsha Weber, Jamie Campbell, Jolie Scott, Michael Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Halee Cunningham, Christina Schenk, Dana McClanahan, Tara Campbell, Brandon Campbell and Justin Goodwin. She is also survived by twenty one great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hearne Funeral Home (125 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
