It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Skidmore of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Skidmore and Mildred Shubert Skidmore; and his siblings, Warren Skidmore, Gary Skidmore and Carolyn Pelfrey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Skidmore of Camargo, KY; his sons, Rick Skidmore (Martina) of Stanton, KY and Dan Skidmore (Rick Yokley) of Ft. Wright, KY; his mother-in-law Augusta Prater of Mt. Sterling, KY; his siblings, James S. Skidmore (Reva) of Mt. Sterling, KY, David L. Skidmore (Betty) of Jeffersonville, KY, Irma Oakley of Mt. Sterling, KY and Barbara Estes of Mt. Sterling, KY; his grandchildren, Stephen Luke Skidmore (Briana), Zachary Daniel Skidmore, Nathan Andrew Skidmore and Caroline Elizabeth Skidmore; and his great grandchild Morgan Skidmore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
