It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elzie Prater Jr. (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), who passed away on September 12, 2018, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Elzie Thornton; his brother-in-law Danny Watkins; his niece Tammy Watkins; and his mother-in-law Betty Gibson. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Gibson Prater of Mt; his parent Shirley Doris Ashley Prater; his children, Candace, Black, Elzie Jason Prater (Cheyenne) and Jessica Dayle Downey (Richard); his sisters, Donna Walters (Shawn), Judy Watkins and Tina Lawson (Keith); and also, Sterling and Appliance. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
