We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 98, Earnie James Gilliam (Mount Sterling, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Gilliam and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gilliam; and his former wives, Gertrude Adkins Gilliam and Patsy West Gilliam. He is survived by: his daughters, Garnette Walker and Janice Gilliam; his wife Mary Alice Parsons White; his stepchildren, Shannon White (Joan), Roma Farge (Mike), Delaine Rajczyk and Janelle McBride (John); his grandchildren, Rhonda Bailey, James Whitaker (Lori), Mathew Walker (Sara) and Whitney Walker; his great grandchildren, Caleb Whitaker, Benjamin Walker, William Walker and Lucy Walker; his great great grandchild Logan Whitaker; and his siblings, Arthur Gilliam, Ernest Gilliam, Earl Gilliam, Cleffie Lewis and Audrey Gilliam.
Earnie attended church at the First Methodist Church, his family request in lieu of flowers those donations be made in his honor: First Methodist Church, P.O. Box 725, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
