It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Vaughan of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rix and Maude Fraser Rix; and her husband Dr. Leon Vaughan. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Glenn, Darin, Stevie and Sarah Vaughan.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 925 Woodford Drive, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
