She was predeceased by: her parents, Festus Ray Pendleton and Ina Maze Pendleton; her husband George Nicholas Bascom, Jr.; and her sibling Eula. She is survived by: her children, Mary Susan Bascom Mardon (David) of Richmond, KY, Elisabeth Ann Bascom (Gary Newton) of Navasota, TX, George Nicholas Bascom, III (Nancy) of Mt, Thomas Clark Bascom (Zenaida) of Yuma, AZ, David Pendleton Bascom of Sharpsburg, KY and Richard Berry Bascom (Theresa) of Prospect, KY. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer's Association.
