With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Ailene Gibson (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Tackett and Sadie Tackett. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Gibson; her daughter Kristi Gibson Spoonamore (Chris); her granddaughter Sophie Grace Spoonamore; her sister Lois Christene Damron; her son Chadwick Dale Gibson; and her siblings, Joyce Tackett, Claudius Tackett and Bob Tackett.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Machpelah Cemetery (600 E Locust St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353).
