He is survived by: his father Donald Eugene Pontius, Sr. (Robin); his daughter Caroline Jones (Ben) of Auburn, Alabama; his grandchildren, Addyson Jones of Auburn, Alabama and Hutton Jones of Auburn, Alabama; his sisters, Elizabeth Torchia Combs (Anthony) of Mt. Sterling, Sue Murray of Groton and Madelene Funk of Wolcott, Connecticut; his former wives, Dee Jansen of Atlanta and Georgia; and his close friend Hobert Hall of Mt.
