Charles Updike Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Updike of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Updike to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Updike and Fannie Updike; his wife Christine Sorrell; and his siblings, Jack, Major Franklin, Daniel Harrison, William Robert, Eugene Bush, James, Samuel and Shirley.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicky Martin (Scott); his grandchildren, Haley Wells and Daniel Martin; and his siblings, George Updike (Imogene) and Lydia Ann Simmons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends and coworkers.
In lieu of flowers donations are encouraged to the Sterling Community Food Coalition or the Montgomery County Schools Family Resource Youth Service Centers.
