He was predeceased by: his father James Banks; and his grandchild Novalee Brown. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Singleton; his children, Matt Brown (Micah Thompson) of Chicago, Lucas Banks of Wellington and Ashley Banks of Morehead; his grandchildren, Jayden Thompson of Chicago, Illinois and Brooklyn Brown of Chicago, Illinois; and his siblings, James "Chubby" Banks of Winchester and Melissa "Piggy" Adams (Scotty) of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
