He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Athel Charles and Ruth Charles; his wife Angela Rodgers; his daughters, Jessica Charles, Nina Sorrell and Keisha Cornett; his stepsons, Draven Rodgers and Asheton Rodgers; his grandsons, Luke Martin and Liam Martin; his stepgrandchildren, Rose Rodgers and Eric Rodgers; and his siblings, David Charles, Buddy Charles, John Charles, Albert Charles, Tom Charles, Gladys Redden, JoAnn Newkirk and Mary Lou Hatfield. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
