He is survived by: his children, Bert Gunnell Jr. (Pam) of Owingsville, KY and Lisa Fay Gunnell Spencer of Mt. Sterling, KY; his granddaughters, Victoria McClanahan Park (Dustin) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Gaia Garcia of Mt. Sterling, KY; his stepgranddaughter Opal Spencer Knox (James) of Menifee County, KY; his great grandchildren, Travis Dale Thomas of Owingsville, KY and TeraLyn Watkins of Winchester, KY; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Chelsie Knox of Menifee County, KY and Shane Allen Knox of Menifee County, KY; and his siblings, Maire Engle (Ray) of West Liberty, KY, Irene Roe of Middletown, OH and Bobby Gunnell of West Liberty, KY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
