He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Helton and Ila Mae Helton; and his siblings, Stanley Helton, Oliver Helton, Kenneth Helton, Vandetta Campbell and Loretta McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Stacy Helton (Theresea) of Mt. Sterling, Michelle Hilbert (Scott) of Lawrenceburg and Candace Fredrick of Mt. Sterling; and his siblings, Virgil Helton of Tennessee and Virgie Reed (Rex). He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
