He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall F. McFarland and Lavania V. "Pug" McFarland; his siblings, Linda Donathan and Freddie B. McFarland; his niece Victoria L. McFarland; and his nephew Carroll D. White.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hunt McFarland; his sister Margaret M. Clark of Carlisle, KY; his close friends, Derek and Adam Buckler of Shurburne; his nephews, Steven White, Freddie B. McFarland, Jr., Jamie McFarland and Eric McFarland; and his niece Kim McFarland. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and a host of cousins and friends.
