He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Sherman and Viola Mae Martin Long; and his brother-in-law Alan Hoskins. He is survived by: his wife Debbi Purri Burns Long of Winchester, KY; his children, Nicholas Scott Long (Anita) of Colorado Springs, CO, Christopher Long of Colorado Springs, CO, Jason Long of Colorado Springs, CO, Joey Burns (Allison) of Colorado Springs, CO, Richard Burns (Jewell) of Colorado Springs, CO and Julie Clark of Stanton, KY; and his siblings, Michael Long (Lynne) of Trussville, AL, Donna Snowden (Rodney) of Jeffersonville, KY, Dianne Wood (Dan) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Karen Denise Hoskins of Mt. Sterling, KY. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
