She was predeceased by: her parent Leonard Curtis Slater; and her spouse Willie Ross Pittman. She is survived by: her parent Martha Christine Spradley Johns; her children, Thomas Blair (Carla) of Sulphur Well, Jennifer Chaney (Stuart) of Mount Sherman, Brenda Pittman of Stuart and Christina Walbert (Timothy) of Edmonton; and her siblings, Eugene Slater (Jan) of Florida, Howard Slater (Pat) of Florida, Herbie Slater (Joy) of Florida, Christine Phillips (Greg) of Jackson and Brenda Lee Pittman. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
