He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Lynn Evans; and his parents, Jodie Daniel and Ayra Melina Brown Evans. He is survived by: his children, Angie Thomas of Hodgenville, Felicia Evans of Buffalo, Trena Evans of Hodgenville and Todd Elmore (Brittani) of Mt. Sherman; his siblings, Elsie Burba of Hodgenville, Betty Smith of Summersville, Linda "Tootsie" Skaggs of Buffalo, James Evans of Hodgenville and Herman "Peewee" Evans of Mt. Sherman; and his close friend Linda Thompson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
